The Story of Lok Clinic: A Three-Generation Legacy of Healing
Lok Clinic’s roots stretch back over fifty years, beginning with Professor Yee-Kung Lok, a pioneering acupuncturist from Hong Kong. In 1973, he worked with Nevada legislators to demonstrate the effectiveness of acupuncture, leading Nevada to become the first U.S. state to legalize acupuncture and Chinese medicine. His efforts were recognized nationally, including a feature in TIME Magazine and a legislative honor in 2011.
In 1975, his son Dr. Peter Lok founded Lok Acupuncture Clinic in Las Vegas, providing acupuncture, electroacupuncture, heat therapy, and TCM to thousands of patients.
Today, the legacy continues with Dr. Henry Lok, DO, third-generation healer and founder of Lok Clinic. At the same historic location—1818 E Desert Inn Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169—he expanded the practice into a full integrative pain management and regenerative medicine clinic.
